Autonomous dust suppression system in Taranto

Cannoni Conrad, the Italian brand of Mantua-based Macchedil sas, focuses on versatility and automation with its custom-made dust suppressors.
Cannoni Conrad designed and built 4 efficient, independent systems for suppressing dust and odours at the Taranto landfills (Italy). Within a year, all the major Italian multi-utility and waste treatment companies had adopted these systems to gain real control over dust and odours.
The water mist cannon Conrad C62 on articulated arm is part of a system comprising a 35 kVA generator and an 8000-litre steel tank. All parts are designed for use on hook-lift trucks.
The versatile articulated arm will allow you to reach different heights and offers the advantage of suppressing dust from top to bottom, ensuring even faster reduction. Our all-in-one system, equipped with a power generator and water tank, allows you to be fully operational throughout working hours without the frequent need to refuel or recharge.
The system is operated by one person: the truck driver controls the cannon with a 12-function remote control:
On/Off function, Rotation control from 0° to 340°, Tilt control from -20° to +45°, Up and Down, Working angle settings, Spray type selection: fine or coarser.
