Industry 4.0 systems on a dust suppression system?

Industry 4.0 is no longer just about machinery and production facilities. Today, even dust control systems can form part of an interconnected business ecosystem, helping to improve operational control, data management and process efficiency.

For Cannoni Conrad, the move towards Industry 4.0 means developing misting systems that integrate operational functionality, automation and digital management. In this way, a technology that is essential for reducing emissions also becomes a tool capable of interfacing with the company’s organisational structure and supporting the monitoring of activities.

This capability is playing an increasingly important role on construction sites, at recycling plants, in quarries, on demolition sites and at industrial sites, where dust control requires reliable, automated solutions that can be easily integrated into existing processes.

Hydra: the autonomous station with native 4.0 technology

The most comprehensive embodiment of this philosophy is Hydra, the autonomous Cannoni Conrad station designed with native 4.0 architecture.

The following are integrated within a single compact skid:

  • misting system with a telescopic tower;
  • high-capacity water tank;
  • generator set;
  • high-pressure pump;
  • electrical switchboard and control system.

A comprehensive, ready-to-use solution that can be installed quickly in any operational environment without the need for dedicated infrastructure.

Thanks to its digital interconnection and management capabilities, Hydra enables dust control to be integrated into business processes, offering more efficient management and more advanced monitoring of operations.

Industry 4.0 and Misting Systems

A technology available across a range of Cannoni Conrad solutions

Hydra is the most advanced model in the range, but it is not the only solution that can be configured in line with the principles of Industry 4.0.

Interconnection features can also be integrated into other Cannoni Conrad misting systems, allowing companies to choose the configuration best suited to their operational requirements, the size of the system and the level of integration required.

This approach makes technological innovation more accessible and flexible, enabling even compact systems or those designed for specific applications to benefit from the advantages of digitalisation.

Industry 4.0 and Misting Systems

Industry 4.0 and tax benefits

The adoption of misting systems designed for digital interconnection and integration represents not only an advanced technological choice, but also a significant investment opportunity for businesses.

Cannoni Conrad’s machines, configured with Industry 4.0 technology, may in fact – provided they comply with current technical and regulatory requirements – be classified as advanced capital goods eligible for the incentives provided for investments in innovation and digitalisation.

For the three-year period 2026–2028, the legislation provides for incentives of up to 180 per cent of the investment value, offering businesses tangible support in their efforts to modernise technology, improve process efficiency and undergo digital transformation.

To ensure customers receive comprehensive support, Cannoni Conrad does not merely supply the machine, but also provides a dedicated service to guide customers through the entire process of accessing financial incentives. Thanks to our collaboration with qualified professionals, we can provide the certified report drawn up by an authorised third party, which is required to certify that the equipment complies with the requirements set out in the relevant legislation.

Through our specialist partners, we are also able to support the company throughout every stage of the process:

  • Registration on the GSE portal and obtaining login credentials (SPID, CIE or other permitted methods).
  • Advance notification of the investment, with the project and the assets covered by the subsidy being registered.
  • Confirmation notice, to be submitted following the successful completion of the checks and payment of the advance payment required by law.
  • Notification of completion, once the investment has been completed and the asset has been integrated into the company’s systems.
  • Annual monitoring, including assistance with the preparation and submission of the notifications required by the GSE, including those relating to investments made and the depreciation schedule.

In this way, the company can rely on a single point of contact for the entire project, from selecting the technological solution right through to managing the technical and administrative requirements necessary to obtain and maintain the relevant incentives.
