LC50R in Teramo: Efficiency and control in aggregate recycling
The Conrad LC50R dust suppression cannon is used in the province of Teramo to control the dust generated by the conveyors that transport the construction material to be sorted and recycled.
The elements that led the disposal plant to choose for this water atomiser were:
- the range of 50 m
- the programmable rotation with PLC up to 340° offering very wide coverage of the area to be treated
- the remote control with 100 m range
- the robust trolley and easily towed, either with construction equipment or by hand for precise positioning within the material recycling plant.
The Conrad LC50R sprayer proves to be a strategic choice for inert recycling plants. Thanks to the range of more than 50 metres and the automatic programmable rotation, the cannon can cover large areas affected by material handling, breaking down the fine dust that is raised during transport on belts or loading into crushers.
Radio control and trolley-mounted structure allow flexible operation even in the most complex plant spaces.
Why it is crucial to reduce dust in recycling plants
The dust generated at inert recycling sites is not only an aesthetic or cleaning problem, but a real risk to health and the environment.
Fine dust can contain silica fragments and other harmful particles that, if inhaled, endanger the health of operators and residents in neighbouring areas. In addition, dust dispersion can impair the proper functioning of machineryreducing efficiency and increasing maintenance costs.
Using a targeted system like the LC50R helps improve working conditions and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
