In April we brought another autonomous dust suppression system to Sardinia, this time to control dust and odours at a composting site.
The screening machine that separates the compost produces a lot of dust, and the wind in the area made the problem worse. Our misting system solved the problem by controlling the dust without soaking the ground.
During delivery we took care of the training of the operators at the compost production site. Our technicians make a point of giving all the necessary information to those who will have to manage the machine in the future so as to ensure its correct use and the diligent maintenance, such as cleaning the nozzles or the filter.
In this case too, our technicians installed the Industry 4.0 kitso the operator training also focused on this topic: our aim is to train people as well as possible so that they can take advantage of all the opportunities that Industry 4.0 offers.
The proposed system consists of:
- Conrad C42 dust suppression cannon: 40-metre range – 64 selectable nozzles – integrated high pressure – PLC to control the automatic functions – fitted on an articulated arm
- Tank for water, made of polyethylene, with a capacity of 3,000 l
- Generator Diesel
- Radio remote control 12 Autec buttons
- Industry 4.0 kit to control/manage/geolocate the machine from the office
- All in one, mounted on a skid that can be lifted by forklift, so it can easily be moved around the compost production site
