The two coal-fired units of the thermoelectric power station are equipped with DeSOx plantsfor theabatement of SO2 emissions, while since 1 January 2016 regular service has also included theDeNOxfor thereduction of NOx emissions. Since 2023 the thermoelectric power station has been equipped with two Conrad C72 dust suppressors to further contain the dust from this fossil fuel.
