CONRAD C42 ceiling-mounted cannon

In the province of Rome, we installed the Conrad C42 bikini version, i.e. divided into two pieces:

TOP: the cannon installed at height with its bracket and slewing ring; BOTTOM: on the ground, in a position accessible to the operator, the control unit equipped with electric panel with PLC, Industry 4.0 kit, high-pressure pump, filtration system and metering pump to feed the odour-abatement product into the atomiser together with water.

In this installation the on top was custom-made to be fixed 'chandelier-style' on the slope of a truss. The bracket was therefore custom-designed for the slope provided by the customer during the inspection.

The activity of the cannon is to treat the waste area placed under the canopy.

The gun chosen is integrated with all automatisms and can be fully managed from the PLC on site, the radio control or the office computer, here are just some of the automatisms that can be controlled:

  • manage and programme rotation from 0° to 340°;
  • the cannon can be tilted vertically +20% - 45°;
  • select the operating nozzles;
  • scheduling of daily and weekly work cycles.

In addition, this plant was equipped with the Industry 4.0 device for Ecological Transition.

The installation was carried out by our personnel trained for work at height.

The work was carried out by two technicians in one day.

The equipment has also been tried and tested in windy conditions.

The video below shows the different stages of using the pulveriser during processing, the wood waste is moved with an octopus bucket and fed into the shredder, the shredded product is then transported by conveyor belts and released onto the side pile.
