Dust suppression on compost sieve

We realised in Piedmont a nebulisation line on a screen for compost, designed as an automated system and installed on a turnkey basis.

The project involved the complete supply of the system, starting with the prefabricated cabin, within which the pump module and control panel were integrated.

Then two independent spray lines were installed:
- one on the hopper, activated by a sensor to detect the presence of the loader during material loading;
- a second perimeter line on the discharge area of the screened product, designed to contain the dust generated when the material falls.

The entire system is managed by a dust detector that automatically activates the lines only when the detected concentrations are actually present, optimising consumption and operational efficiency.

In addition, the plant was implemented with an odour-mitigating product dosing system.

An intervention that is part of the development of a waste treatment plant that is being expanded, with an approach increasingly oriented towards sustainability, automation and environmental performance.
