When efficiency rhymes with simplicity: the Hydra station in Venice

A leading company specialising in demolition and aggregate recycling needed a compact, high-performance machine for dust suppression. In the past, it used a system with a 70 metre throw, but with very high consumption (over 90 l/min of water) and a complicated control panel. With the new Hydra, the company chose an integrated, simple solution with reduced consumption: only 8 l/min of water and an 8.5 kW generator.

Hydra for demolition dust suppression

Our latest delivery takes us to Venice, a unique city in the world, where even industrial activities have to deal with special spaces, specific requirements and a great concern for the environment. Here, a leading company in the demolition and aggregates recycling sector has chosen to rely on our technology to further improve its processes and make its dust management even more efficient during the works.

The company is distinguished not only by the experience it has gained over time, but also by its modern and sustainable approach: the recycling and storage of aggregates are activities that require robust, reliable machinery that at the same time ensures low consumption and reduced environmental impact.

Precisely for this reason, the customer's need was clear: they needed a machine compacteasy to manage, with all integrated and, above all, capable of combining high performance with low energy and water consumption.

In the past, the company had resorted to a system with range of 70 metres produced by a competitor. On paper, a great advantage. In practice, however, the limitations were enormous: a very complicated electrical panel to manage, very high energy consumption and a water requirement that exceeded the 90 litres per minute. An unsustainable situation for those who have to work every day with constancy and precision, especially in a context such as Venice.

The solution came with our Hydraa machine designed precisely to meet the needs of those who want practicality, compactness and performance without waste. Hydra represents the new generation of dust-laying stations: small in size but powerful in its functions, it is capable of guaranteeing a adjustable range up to 40 metreswhich is more than sufficient for most demolition and inert recycling operations.

The heart of the project is in its efficiency. Hydra in fact works with a 8.5 kW petrol generatorwhich ensures low electricity consumption, while on the water side it is characterised by minimal demand: only 8 litres per minutea value that drastically reduces waste compared to traditional solutions. This means not only lower running costs, but also a significantly lower environmental impact.

On the practical side, the Hydra is designed to make life as easy as possible for the operator. Its telescopic pole extendable up to 5 metres allows it to adapt to different heights and working contexts, always guaranteeing maximum effectiveness. This is complemented by the control paneldesigned to be extremely simple and intuitive: no complicated procedures, no time wasting, just immediate operability.

With Hydra, the customer has finally found the machine he was looking for: a system integrated, compact and high-performancecapable of solving the problems that limited them with previous solutions. Today they can count on effective dust suppression with reduced consumption and leaner, more flexible management.

For us at Cannoni Conrad, this delivery represents not only a technical success, but also a confirmation of our mission: to offer machines that concretely help companies work better, with an eye on efficiency and sustainability.

Customer satisfaction is the best proof that Hydra is not just a machine, but a true ally for those in the demolition and recycling industry. In Venice, as everywhere there is a need for innovation.
