THE C50 HIGH-PRESSURE PROJECT
The C50 project was born precisely for this site, to solve our customer’s problem. In this case, we designed a new machine that would be added to our range with new functionality.
THE PROBLEM TO SOLVE
In general, the problem we were facing was the smell. The site carried out sorting and grinding of green material, during the first visit it was immediately understood that the use of excessive doses of water would have reduced the smell, but soon the wood and green materials would rot with a new smell to suppress.
Note: We give a lot of importance to our inspections. In this phase, we show the customer that we have his work at heart and to want to find the right solutions to his problems. Usually, we like to speak with those who manage the site, as well as those who will then use the blast chiller, to better understand how our system will be able to solve the daily hitches in the landfill.
THE AUTOMATIC SYSTEM C50
Having before us a very large area to manage and a mobile grinding system, it was decided to opt for an autonomous dust abatement system on wheels that could be towed and positioned wherever there was a need. The C50 system has a tank with a capacity of 3000 l., a generator with a three-phase power of 35 kVA (28 kW), all mounted on a towable skid equipped with wheels, stabilizers, and rudder.
THE PREPARATION OF THE CANNON C50
The cannon has been installed on an articulated arm to allow the operator to fully control the sprayer on the top of the grinder output. The possibility to suppress dust from above is a real benefit. Breaking down the dust from below is not always effective, sometimes it is dispersive as it moves the dust without completely breaking it down.
THE SOLUTION: LESS WATER, BETTER DOSED
A 60 bar high-pressure pump to reduce the dose of water injected on the materials, reducing the risk of rotting wood and also reducing water consumption!
FOCUS: ODOR ABATEMENT
This system was provided with a dosing and mixing pump for the anti-odor product, essential for solving the inconvenience of the bad smell perceived in the residential area close to the site.
